We spent the entire day outside, tramping through woodland, paddling in the river and jumping in muddy puddles. We fished and we foraged. We named bugs and named trees. We put away our books and put on our wellies. We had the most perfect day - our thanks to Paul, Jonathon and Alan for helping us fish, to Shailagh for sharing her wonderful knowledge of trees, to Keith Corcoran for his ghost stories and ensuring that nobody will sleep tonight, to Jenny and Mr Barnett for helping and finally to Mrs Hamilton of Brownhall Demense for her hospitality and facilitating our visit. If only all Fridays could be like this... More photos in the Gallery. Cheerios Breakfast Morning
