Reverend John

We had a lovely visit from Reverend John today, probably our last one for some time.  After spending some time eating with the Teddy Bears at their picnic, he presented the school with the gift of some Bible Stories for our class libraries.  We thank him very much for all the support he has given our school over the past three years, all the fun he has brought to our classrooms and for never missing the opportunity to be there to clap and cheer at our school events.  We hope it wont be long before he is able to call back and see us.

R.E. Certificates

We thank Mrs Russell for all her hard work in our school this year and thank her very much for calling in today to present our R.E. certificates.

The children will need to be at school at 6.30 p.m. on Thursday evening for the End of Year Show.  This year's show will start with a dance performance by the 'Putting on the Ritz' parents.

We send our sincere condolences to Margaret, George and the rest of the Clarke family on the death of Margaret's mother, Elizabeth.

Book Fair

Thank you for your support of this year's Book Fair.  €816 was spent on books which gave us commission of €326 to spend on books for our class libraries.

Sports Day

We will be holding our Sports Day on Friday 19th June at 10 a.m.  Friends and parents are very welcome to join us.

Teddy Bears' Picnic

Please send a furry friend to school on Monday 22nd June for fun in the playground.

Thank you to Drumholm Community Playgroup for their very generous donation of over €600 to our school funds.  

P.T.A.

We have just held our last P.T.A. Meeting for this year. We need to say a huge thanks to our hardworking Mums and Dads for the time and effort they have put into raising money and supporting the school this year.

Sponsored Walk

Thank you to all those who helped supply and serve up the refreshments at the Sponsored Walk. Thank you also to those who helped organise the walk.  A special thank you to Mr Barnett for escorting the cyclists.  

Dental Nurse

We had a lovely visit from a dental nurse and her furry friend Maggie on Monday. Please be sure to ask the children the correct way to brush their teeth.

End of Year Show

Preparations are well under way for next week's show.  Please be sure to have costumes in school as soon as possible for a dress rehearsal.

Finally some nice weather...

Please be sure to send sun hats and sun cream if necessary.  We have no shade in the playground.
