What a fun evening! I hope everyone enjoyed the energetic dance routines and the music. It was great to see such a crowd and so many having fun by dressing in costume.
A huge well done to our brave parents who, after all the months of practice, were superb - both in their own Charleston Dance and in the finale 'Thriller' dance. I am sure you will all agree that they all looked absolutely great. There will be lots more photographs in the papers this week. Have a look out for them.

There are so many people to thank for helping make the evening such a success and so in no particular order, we say thank you to:
- Shona and the cast of the 'Putting on the Ritz' show for their months of practice and for so selflessly allowing the proceeds of all their hard work to be donated to school;
- Andrew Monk for compèring and providing the music afterwards. There were still many people having fun on the dance floor in the early hours;
- All those who helped with the staging, music and props;
- The parents who danced in the show for all their patience, enthusiasm and time. You did us proud!
- Mark O'Connell for spending so much of his time patiently teaching everyone the dances and for never complaining when they had to be demonstrated over and over and over again.
- Francess O'Connell for publicising the event and Stephen Anderson who did such a good interview on the radio last week;
- Our sponsors - both those who donated raffle prizes and those who offered cash donations. We particularly thank one sponsor who wished to remain anonymous for a very large donation towards the costs of staging the show;
- All our hairdressers and make up artists who did such a fantastic job of getting everyone ready;
- Noel Keating for his help with videoing the event;
- The members of the P.T.A. for organising and running the event, and especially the Sub-Committee for all their hard work;
- All those who helped at the show - collecting tickets, selling raffle tickets and conducting the raffle;
- Everyone who has helped sell tickets and publicise the event;
- Cathrena for everything...too many things to list individually;
- The teaching staff for their help and support over the past few months with the St. Patrick's Day Parade, the children's video and help at the event;
- And finally, to everyone who has supported this fundraiser through ticket sales and by coming along on the night. Without such a great audience, the night would not have been such a success.
