The new school year is now well under way and I hope everyone has settled in.  Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions, queries or concerns.

Active Schools

This half-term we are enjoying Céilí Dancing lessons with Clement Gallagher on Tuesday mornings. So far we have 'almost' mastered 'The Walls of Limerick' and the 'Siege of Ennis'.  There may be an opportunity for parents to join us for a few dances later in the year.

For several weeks we are being joined by a coach from Naomh Bríd.  The focus of this work is to improve ball skills.

Church Services

The children in 5th and 6th Class will travel to Ramelton Parish Church on Thursday 29th September for a joint service with children from other schools in County Donegal which are under Church of Ireland or Presbyterian management.

We also look forward to taking part in this year's Harvest Thanksgiving Service in Drumholm Parish Church on Sunday 2nd October.  The service begins at 11.00 a.m. Burgundy uniforms to be worn please.

Thank you

I would like to acknowledge the hard work of Tori and her helpers for organising the Beetle Drive at the end of the school year. €500 was raised for school funds.

Thank you also to everyone involved in the End of Year Barbecue which also raised €500.  We especially thank Mark and Wayne.

Just over €1100 was raised in this year's Sponsored Walk - thank you for your support.

Condolences

We extend our deepest sympathies to those in the school community who have been recently bereaved, and in particular to the O'Connell and Thatcher families.

School Garden

The children are busy harvesting this year's crops.  Thank you Mr Barnett!
