Cheerios Breakfast Morning Although we are always trying hard to raise funds for ourselves, we believe that it is important to support other causes from time to time. We will be holding our 'Cheerios Breakfast Together' morning on Wednesday 18th October. Cereal and milk will be provided for the children in return for a donation of €2 (or whatever you would like to donate). Money raised will be donated to Childline. The children will need to bring their own bowls and spoons! C.E.F. We are delighted to have Brian Donaghy from C.E.F. rejoining us on Thursdays. We have missed his lively guitar and fun stories. Harvest Thanksgiving Service Well done to the children from 1st to 6th Class for singing and performing so well at this morning's Harvest Thanksgiving Service. We also thank all those parents who ensured their children were present and came along to support their children and the school. On display in the church was a selection of the fruit and vegetables grown in the school organic garden. Miss McGinley and Miss Johnston did a great job of arranging the display and as always we thank Mr Barnett, without whom we would not be able to keep our garden going. Pictured are some of the children who came along to school in the summer holidays to help in the garden. What a lovely morning we had celebrating Harvest. Well done to the children and thank you to all the parents and friends who came along to hear them sing.
