5th and 6th Class were absolutely delighted to have the opportunity to talk to and shake hands with HRH Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall on Wednesday morning. Possibly at some point in the future they will watch Prince Charles being crowned King and will be able to tell their children and grandchildren that they shook his hand and spoke to him on the Diamond in Donegal. More photos in the Gallery. Sponsored Walk Thank you everyone who came to walk with us today. Thankfully the weather stayed dry and we made it around the road in record quick time. Delighted to have received our 4th Green Flag Award for 'Travel' yesterday at the Award Ceremony in Letterkenny. Well done to our three committee members Anaelle, John and Kaithlyn for representing our school so well. No sunny Friday afternoon would be complete without an extremely large bouncy ball to chase around on the grass and an ice lolly picnic! Thank you Jenny for being so thoughtful. Warm Weather

What a wonderful day we had on Sunday 28th February at the Peace Proms Concert in the SSE Arena, Belfast. As you can see in the photo, we were very excited, despite the 8 o'clock start! It was very exciting to be part of such a big choir at such an enormous venue. We had a great time singing and enjoying all the concert acts. We even saw Brian Kennedy performing ' We raise you up' and although we didn't see her, Adele was apparently in the building getting ready for her own concert. Thank you to Miss Browne for giving up her Sunday to come along and help out and thank you also to all the parents and friends who came along to support us. We hope you had as good a day as we had.
Thank you so much to everyone who came along to our Coffee Morning last Saturday and to those who sent in donations. We raised a fantastic total of €1000.
Your support is very, very much appreciated! Huge thanks also to Leah, to everyone who baked for us and to those ladies who helped out on Saturday with serving and clearing up. |
