Illness and Medicine

If a child is feeling unwell in school and the teacher feels it is in the child’s best interests to go home, we will ring and ask you to collect them.

Please make sure that the contact numbers we have for you are always up to date (especially mobile numbers).  You can update your contact details on the form below.

Generally, we do not administer medicine in school, nor do we allow the children to administer medicines themselves.  Exceptions to this are asthma inhalers or medicines for other serious conditions.  Please see the Administration of Medicine Policy and Asthma Management Guidelines for more details.
