If you were passing school on Tuesday, you can't have missed the 'Big Belfast Bus' parked outside. We had a great day entertaining and making friends with the forty P7 children from Carr's Glen Primary School, Belfast. We hope they enjoyed the hot chocolate and cookies and hope they learned a little about life in County Donegal. We can't wait to go and see them again up in Belfast in December...we heard a little rumour that we might even get to visit the Titanic Exhibition!
Our thanks to Jenny, Cathrena and Leah for helping out with the hot chocolate!
Science Week
This is Science Week. The children in the Senior Room had a visit from John Gallagher, ESB who demonstrated how the Archimedes' Screw works. Look out for some photos of other science work going on in school this week.
Shoeboxes
Thank you to all those families who sent in filled shoeboxes this week for the Shoebox Appeal. Thirty one filled boxes are now on their way to bringing smiles, laughter and hope to children who think the world has forgotten them.
Quiz and Quiz Sheets
Thank you to all those who sold Quiz Sheets and who came along to the Quiz last Saturday night. We would also like to thank those who organised both the Quiz and the Quiz Sheets.
