Happy New Year - we hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas holiday. We are looking forward to seeing the children back at school tomorrow morning and hearing what Santa brought.
We shared this with you last year but we feel it is appropriate to post it again. In an effort to keep coughs, colds and flu at bay, please would you remind the children of the importance of washing their hands regularly and covering coughs?
We will also talk to the children about this in school. It might also be helpful to send a pocket sized packet of tissues and a small bottle of hand gel with the older children (as we did during the Swine Flu outbreak).
Although we are very keen that children are not absent from school, please don't send children to school if they are very unwell and have flu symptoms.
